Al-Nasser University bade farewell to Ammar Omar, the ex-chairman of Lab Department, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Saif, CBT, Dr. Abdulkareem Alzumor, Dean of Faculty of Medical Sciences, and a number of faculty members and the University staff.

The farewell party was organized at the Grand Hall, Faculty of Medical Sciences, in honor of Mr. Ammar before his departure for Sudan to pursue the PhD degree in Tumour Tissues.

At the event, an honor certificate was presented to Ammar by Dr. Alzumor as a token of appreciation for his commitment to job while working at the University. In his speech, Mr. Fuad Alba’dani summed up Ammar’s achievements first as a faculty member and then as the chairman of Lab Department. He also congratulated Omar on behalf of Al-Nasser on the scholarship he got which would hopefully help him develop his academic career. He concluded by wishing him the best of luck.

For his part, Mr. Ammar thanked the University represented by the CBT and the Dean of Faculty of Medical Sciences as well as the faculty and staff for honoring him with such a party and supporting him all the time. Moreover, he expressed his sense of satisfaction with the advanced position that placed the University ahead of other Yemeni universities. He, thereafter, wished Al-Nasser a brilliant future.
