Alnasser University Hosts All Girls Foundation for Development’s Program

Alnasser University has hosted a one-day program organized by All Girls Foundation for Development (AGFD) in coordination with the U. S. Embassy-Sana’a. The main event of the program that took place at the Grand Auditorium, Medical Science College, was a lecture entitled “Future Planning and Time Management.” At the outset, Student Mohammed Mahfal presented a Quran recitation which was followed by the speech of the AGFD delivered by the Media Executive, Mr. Mohammed Albeteety, who thanked the University for generously hosting the event  inviting attendees to enrich the program with initiatives and interactions. Thereafter, Dr. Ahmed Saif Moharam, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, received the foundation’s Shield-souvenir in honor of the University for its active contributions. The University’s address was delivered by Chairman of Pharmacology Department, Dr. Mohammed Alghazali, who greeted attendees. He talked about the essential role the University plays in such events emphasizing the importance of its partnership with civil societies. He also welcomed the initiatives that come to empower youths and enhance their participation in the communal and national well-being. Dr. Alghazali concluded with asking attendees, especially youths, to boost up their experience with such events as part of their responsibility towards the nation. The University, in turn, honored the foundation with the University’s Shield-souvenir presented to the foundation’s Director, Amani Altheeb, by the Secretary General, Mr. Ali Althaifani. The program was concluded with the lecture delivered by Dr. Ahmed Ashbeer which dealt with the strategic planning and time exploitation. The lecture highlighted time and forward planning as important factors that help one attain his/her goals as long as he/she is able to distinguish between the passivity of “wish” and the power of “will.” The lecturer cited a number of Yemeni and world outstanding personalities as typical examples. The lecture was followed by a number of questions and the practical methods applicable for planning ahead and for overcoming the arising hindrances. The University was represented to the program by Dr. Ahmed Saif Moharam, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the University’s Secretary General, Mr. Ali Althaifani, Dr. Mohammed Shawqi Ala’awar, Dean of Humanities College, Dr. Mohammed Alkuhali, Dean of Administrative Sciences College in addition to Heads of Departments and many officials. The AGFD was represented by Mrs. Amani Altheeb, the Director, and Mr. Mohammed Albeteety, the Media Executive. The University’s students and students coming from other universities and institutions attended the program.
