Sponsored by the University, the visit intended to offer medical aid to the hospital through the supply of medicines that the hospital’s pharmacy actually lacks. The visitors got closely acquainted with the patients admitted to the hospital where 10 dialysis equipments in addition to other devices are in service 24 hours a day. A serious deficiency of medical equipments and drugs was observed by the visitors who reported the dire need of the hospital for certain necessities, especially as it is the only renal hospital across a vast area receiving cases from both Sana’a and Emran.
Moreover, the delegate discussed with the Hospital Director, Dr. Mohammed Alharazi, the potential aspects of cooperation and how the University can enhance its aid to the hospital through donation campaigns, initiatives, and professional cadre.
The visit takes place in consequence to the charity bazaar organized by Pharmacology students under the slogan “Contribute a drop of hope to renal failure patients.” It comes also to confirm the various communal initiatives and activities sponsored by Al-Nasser towards providing relief to such categories of people.
