NU & UM Sign Memorandum of Understanding
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Al-Nasser University (NU), represented by Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, and University of Malaya (UM) on Sat, 27 May 2023.
The MoU included the academic exchange of students, staff, and academicians between both universities. It also included conducting mutual research activities in addition to sharing the variable academic programs and activities with the interested students, academicians, etc.
University of Malaya (UM) is one of the oldest and high-ranking Malaysian universities. It had been established in Kuala Lumpur in 1904 as an institution of medicine intent to serve the community. Today, it offers high levels of international education, learning, research works, and innovation. In the latest QS university ranking, UM has been ranked 70th in the world.
The signing ceremony took place at Al-Nasser University’s headquarter in the presence of Prof Mohammed Esharjabi, the Chancellor’s Counselor for Academic Accreditation and Supervisor of Computer Programs, Mr. Ali Ethayfani, Secretary General, Prof Omar Eshuja, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, Prof Abdulkareem Ezzumor, FMS Dean, Dr. Wafa Elmath-haji, Head of Pharmacy Department and the MoU coordinator, Dr. Qais Ennuzaili, FECS Vice Dean, and Dr. Munir Al-Aghberi, Head of English & Translation Department.
