A group of field visits to Saba Pharma Pharmaceutical Plant were concluded by Pharmacy Department at Faculty of Medical Sciences, Al-Nasser University. Taking place as part of the plan implemented by Research & Training Office for the academic year 2019/2020, the visits targeted the department’s fifth-level students.

To help students gain a maximum advantage, they were divided into three groups. They got acquainted there with the pharmaceutical production lines, R & D department, the mechanism of conducting CGMP studies, the quality control lab, and medicine stability measures.

Escorted throughout their visits by Dr. Safyah Erruzami (Director of Research & Training), the students were received by a number of the plant’s staff members including: Dr. Amr Wahas (Technical Manager), Dr. Hamdi Elmuqri (Quality Assurance Manager), Dr. Mohammed Turkey (Director of Quality Control Lab), Dr. Majed Elquadaimi (Production Manager), and Dr. Mohammed Esh-sharafi (R & D Director) who respectively briefed the students about the work mechanism of each section.
