Al-Nasser football team could garner a valuable tie in the game against the team of Physical Education College – Sana’a University that ended with the score of two goals for each. The match took place within the eleventh tournament of Universities League Championship.<\/div>\n
The first half was almost prevailed by Al-Nasser team which managed to score the first goal through a free kick executed by Mohammed Khurais, captain of the team and a player with Arab and Youth teams.<\/div>\n
After exchanging attacks, Physical Education got the equalizer towards the end of the first half. It was able to score the second goal just a minute before the game\u2019s halftime.<\/div>\n

According to Al-Nasser\u2019s coach, Captain Mutlaq Alsaidy, the team\u2019s performance in the previous game was badly affected by the absence of Captain Mohammed Khurais as well as the loss of many opportunities to score. As for today’s game, the team was able to affirm itself by being well organized and by following up the instructions. \u00a0The coach was impressed by the team\u2019s indomitable spirit throughout the game despite the numerical disadvantage at the last ten minutes.<\/div>\n
Captain Mohammad Khurais expressed his satisfaction with the result that was attained because of the team\u2019s great performance and collective movement. He added that it is difficult to get a victory against a team with many professional players.<\/div>\n

The high morale with which Al-Nasser began the second half enabled it to be in control of the playground and to threaten the opponent’s goal with several misses. The attacks continued against the Physical Education\u2019s goal till the substitute-player Ahmed Alkhamiri scored the equalizer through a kick from inside the penalty area after manipulating the opponent’s defence. Player Omar Ba-Ibrahim got a red card due to his objection to the referee\u2019s negligence of a penalty. \u00a0The referee decided to raise the second yellow card and, thus, Al-Nasser had to continue the last ten minutes of the match with only ten players. The team, however, was able to keep on the 2\/2 result. Al-Nasser can still participate in the tournament in case its official protest against the outcome of its game versus Alwatinia is accepted. League observers confirmed the involvement of professional players from outside Alwatinia University in its team participating in the competition.<\/p>\n

The team of Physical Education College- Sana\u2019a University has many eminent players coming from many local clubs and National Football Team (NFT) as well. Most notably, Abdul Razak Aloshbi is a former player with Alyarmouk Club whereas Salah Alzoreiky has played with Sha\u2019eb Sana\u2019a Club and NFT. \u00a0Saleh Alezzani is also a player with Wahdat Sana\u2019a Club while Tariq Almashraqi with Alwahdah Club and NFT.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Noteworthy is that Al-Nasser team was full of enthusiasm throughout the game during which both teams received many penalty cards.<\/div>\n
