{"id":22210,"date":"2016-04-18T09:50:03","date_gmt":"2016-04-23T08:51:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.al-edu.com\/?p=22210"},"modified":"2016-04-23T08:51:58","modified_gmt":"2016-04-23T08:51:58","slug":"scientific-visits-by-fms-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nu.edu.ye\/en\/scientific-visits-by-fms-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Scientific Visits by FMS Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Students of Lab &amp;Public Health Departments had last week a number of the scientific visits organized by Research &amp;Training Department at Faculty of Medical Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>Laboratory junior students visited the Central Laboratory for Blood Transfusion &amp; Research. There they got briefed on the Lab\u2019s mechanism and process: reception of donors; methods and devices of blood conservation; and transfusion.<\/p>\n<p>Another visit was conducted by the Lab evening-class students to El-Awlaqi Labs where they identified its work mechanism and got trained on how to deal with the different medical equipment.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Public Health students visited the National Foundation for Standards and Quality where they got introduced to its history and various departments. The students could also have a look at the labs by which the Foundation can keep tight control over the products\u2019 quality.<\/p>\n<p>Such visits are meant to enhance the students\u2019 practical skills as well as implement the theoretical learning through field training.<\/p>\n<p>The students felt satisfied with the practical experience they derived especially on how to deal with the different medical devices and situations they might encounter in their future careers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: rtl;\" align=\"justify\"><a
