2nd Pharmaceutical Production Exhibition Continues at Al-Nasser University
With the participation of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, the activities of the ‘2nd Pharmaceutical Production Exhibition’ were carried on for the 2nd day. The exhibition was organized by the Pharmacy’s 12th cohort ‘Pharmaceutical Production Pioneers” under the slogan, “Pharmacist Imprint in Service of Community”.
The two-day exhibition was held at Al-Nasser University’s headquarter during which over 20 pharmaceuticals including hygiene products, cosmetics, etc. were displayed. The pharmaceuticals were prepared by the Pharmacy students based on scientific studies conducted in accordance to standard manufacturing tests under the guidance of faculty members with a long experience in pharmaceutical production.
The event witnessed a high turnout of the University’s students and visitors from outside. The exhibited products were sold out while the proceeds went to the support of a social initiative by Al-Nasser that provided the neighboring schools with complete first aid kits. The initiative took place as part of implementing the University’s 3rd goal of community service.
The Chancellor toured the Exhibition’s different booths and was briefed by the participants’ on the displayed products. He was escorted throughout by Prof Omar Eshuja, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance, and Dr. Qais Ennuzaili, FECS Vice Dean and Head of IT Department.
