Al-Nasser Holds Annual Celebration for FMS & FECS Fresher & Top Students

In the presence of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, the annual celebration to welcome the 2021/2022 fresher students and reward the 2020/2021 top students at Faculty of Medical Sciences and Faculty of Engineering and Computer Sciences was held in Sana’a Orphanage Hall, at Ennahdha neighborhood, on Sat, 4 Dec 2021.

Addressing the audience, Prof Tahish greeted the attendees and confirmed the academic quality that Al-Nasser University is committed to in the educational services it offers. He noted that the University offers the scientific material, the best educational aids, qualified faculty, and the curricula that comply with the AAC standards. The University’s graduates are competent enough to keep up the University’s name in the labor market.

For her part, Dr. Wafa Elmath-haji, Head of Pharmacy Department, gave a speech on behalf of the FMS Deanship. In her words, “Learning is the building foundation, pillar of civilizations, and summit of progress in every field. The development of any nation depends on the constant pursuit of knowledge. Today we are receiving the fresher students who will be tomorrow’s graduates. We, at Al-Nasser University, seek to achieve our mission in a perfect way and by means of the latest technologies.”

As part of the event’s program, the Chancellor along with the FMS Dean honored Dr. Mohammed Elhilali, the faculty member, in appreciation of his excellent record at the University. For his part, Dr. Elhilali presented his thanks for such a kind gesture by the Chancellor and the Dean. Addressing the fresher students, he pointed out that the 1st year is the foundation stone in their learning progress. As a result, their hard work at this stage help them a lot in their upcoming years.

Presented by the starring hosts Belal El-Arabi and Basmah Elmath-haji, the event’s program included a number of superb shows: the top-student speech by Abrar Eladeeb, a video reportage about Al-Nasser University, in addition to folklore and artistic shows. The event was concluded by handing honor certificates and plaques over to top students.

The celebration made a good impression with the students. According to Majid Erraboui (the 2nd top student of Medical Labs 2nd level), the event motivates the students and creates a competitive atmosphere among them. He expressed his feelings of being recognized since today’s success is the outcome of a lot of hard work, familial support, and faculty’s guidance. Having being honored motivates him to be more excellent.

According to both Jawharah Elyousfi (3rd top students of Medical Labs 3rd level) and Taha Ali Saleh (3rd top student of Civil Engineering 3rd level), excellence is the outcome of steadfast work which is not an easy work. Today’s celebration gave them a great push to stay at the top position and even achieve more outstanding grades.

Both Mohammed Elajani (1st top student of Nursing 3rd level) and Abdurrahman Zaleel (2nd top student of Nursing 3rd level) pointed out that the event was distinct, particularly with the presence of the Chancellor and the FMS Dean and staff members. It is a kind gesture by Al-Nasser University to welcome the fresher students and reward the top-ranking ones.

The event was held in the presence of Dr. Abdulkareem Ezzumor (FMS Dean), Dr. Mansour Ezzabadi (FEFS Dean), the heads of departments at both colleges, faculty and staff members, and the fresher and top students’ families.
