University Chancellor Inaugurates New Computer Lab

The second computer lab at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences was opened on Saturday in the presence of the Chancellor, Dr. Saeed Alghalibi, and Dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Alkuhaly.
Comprising 15 devices that are equipped with the latest technical configurations, the new lab has been established to serve educational and training purposes.
Dr. Mohammed Alkuhaly stated that the lab represents the second at the college and the fifth at the University, confirming that such a step comes to emphasize the University’s interest in the applied and practical aspects of education so that students can master their fields of specializations.
Students , in turn, appreciated such a scientific addition which would help link the theoretical with the empirical. Asma Ahmed, a Junior student at Department of Information Technology, said that the new lab provides a conducive environment for practice and solves the problematic congestion on the College’s merely lab. She added that the new lab’s internet is much faster and thus browsing becomes easier.
Student Mohammed Mokred also expressed his feelings of delight towards opening the lab, describing it as a typical achievement by the Department , and the College in general.
Student Thikra Hamadi thanked the Dean of the College and the University’s administration for their interest in providing students with whatever raises their academic as well as professional standards.
