Workshop for Upgrading IT Dept. and Initiating New Programs
Chaired by Prof Abdullah Tahish (the Chancellor), a workshop was held on Wed, 15 Dec 2021, to discuss upgrading IT Department at Faculty of Engineering and Computer Sciences and introducing new Bachelor programs in the department.
The workshop was held at the University’s headquarter with the participation of Prof Omar Eshuja (Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center), Dr. Mohammed Esharjabi (a quality and accreditation Expert), Dr. Qais Ennuzaili (Head of IT Department), Mr. Hani Elghaithi (the IT faculty member), and Mr. Fawaz Elqubati (Academic Head of Aptech Center).
The Chancellor noted that the current workshop took place as part of Al-Nasser’s interest in compliance to learning academic accreditation as well as in improving its programs. He confirmed that the University is committed to developing the educational standards and graduating competent professionals through introducing typical programs that can meet the needs of community as well as local and external labor market.
The workshop’s agenda included reviewing the participants’ ideas over the current IT program, namely its evaluation, merits, and ways of development. The participants’ suggestions over the new programs to initiate were discussed as well.
