Accountancy Seniors Visit Deloitte
Accountancy senior students have been taken in a scientific visit that Faculty of Administrative Studies organized to Deloitte Company Headquarter. The students were accompanied by Dr. Muhammed El-Kuhali, the Dean, and Dr. Sumayah El-Qubati, the instructor of Audit I. Welcoming the visitors, Miss Mona Mekawi briefed them on Deloitte’s start and achievements in Auditing throughout many decades of its business.
During the three-hour visit, students were introduced to auditing by a number of the company’s specialists. Mr. Ameen Hajar talked about the auditing profession and its prerequisites. Thereafter, Mr. Zaki Elkhatri, focused in his speech on the risks associated with auditing. Mr. Ashraf El-Shura’i cast the light on the importance of applying information technology to auditing.
Mr. Marwan Ghalib concluded with an explanation of the duties of an auditing field crew before, during, and after the auditing process.
In a generous gesture, Prof. Abdulmalik Hajar came to welcome the students as well as to counsel them about the importance of English language, computer skills, and international standards for practising the auditing profession.
The students felt pleasantly satisfied at the knowledge they derived from such a visit. They thanked the Dean and the subject’s instructor, appreciating the FAS’s keenness on enhancing the practical aspects of study.
