Al-Nasser Aids Renal-Failure Patients

A visit has been paid Last Sunday to Renal Failure Center at May-22 Hospital at Dhula’a Hamdan by a delegation from Al-Nasser University membered by: Mr. Ali El-thayfani (Secretary General), Dr. Nawal El-Zindani (Superintendent at Pharmacy Dept.) and a number of Sixth-level students. Upon arrival the delegation was welcomed by Dr. Muh’d El-Shamrani, the Center’s Director, along with a number of doctors and specialists.

The delegation offered medical aid to the Hospital’s Dialysis Unit bought by the proceeds obtained from the charity bazaar organized previously by the University under the slogan “Donate a Drop of Hope for Renal-failure Patients.”

Getting closely acquainted with the Center’s various wards and dialysis equipment, the visitors meet a number of the inpatients admitted there and presented the necessary aid to them.

The Secretary General confirmed that such a visit is one of many initiatives and activities sponsored by Al-Nasser towards providing relief to the alike patients principally during the current exceptional circumstances. He, further, cast light on the process of cultivating the students’ sense of commitment towards community as part of the educational values the University cares about.

For his part, Dr. El-Shamrani praised the University’s continuous charity initiatives in support of patients. Dr. Jameel El-Selwi, Head of Nursing Dept., thanked such a kind gesture by Al-Nasser being the foremost institution aiding renal-failure patients.

Towards the end of the visit, the Center’s Director presented a souvenir- shield in appreciation of the University’s continuous support as well as a thank-you certificate to the Pharmacy students.
